Aftercare

Everything we’d tell you in the chair, written down. Find what you had done — the first day is what decides how long it lasts, and after that it’s one small habit.

Lash extensionsInfills every 2–3 weeks

Your new lashes are on. Here’s how to keep them looking exactly like they do right now.

First 24 hours

the part that matters most

  • Keep them completely dry.

No water on your face, no washing, no swimming, no getting caught in the rain. The adhesive is still curing.

  • Stay out of the heat.

No sauna, no steam, no hot yoga, and go gently at the gym — in Suva humidity, sweat does the same damage water does.

  • Hands off.

No touching, rubbing or picking, however tempting.

From day two

your daily routine

  • Clean them every 2–3 days with an oil-free lash cleanser. This is the single biggest thing for retention — makeup and oil residue break the bond down from underneath.

  • Brush them every morning with your spoolie, gently, from the middle out.

  • Oil-free everything near your eyes — cleanser, makeup remover, moisturiser, sunscreen. Oil is the enemy of lash adhesive.

  • Skip mascara.

Never waterproof — taking it off takes your extensions with it.

  • Sleep on your back or side if you can. Face-down flattens the fluff.

  • Never pull a loose one.

You’ll take your own lash with it. Let it shed naturally, or come in and we’ll sort it.

Coming back

Infills every 2–3 weeks keeps them full. Past four weeks and there’s usually not enough left to fill — it becomes a full set again.

Lash lift & tint

Your lift is set and your lashes are still settling. Twenty-four careful hours and they’re yours for the next two months.

First 24 hours

while the lift sets

  • Keep them dry.

No water on your lashes, no steam, no swimming, no long hot showers.

  • No mascara and no eye makeup.

Not any, not just a little.

  • No rubbing or touching , and try not to sleep face-down — the curl can crease while it’s still soft.

From day two

  • Mascara is fine again — just never waterproof. Removing it is too rough on a fresh lift.

  • Keep oils off your lash line for another day or so.

  • A lash serum at night keeps them strong and holds the curl longer.

  • Brush them up gently each morning.

How long it lasts

6–8 weeks, following your own lash cycle. The tint usually softens a little before the curl drops.

After a removalBack to full in 6–8 weeks

All off, and your own lashes are back. A little care now and they’ll be back to full strength quickly.

This week

  • Be gentle.

No rubbing, no lash curler, and skip mascara for a couple of days.

  • A lash serum nightly is the fastest way to bring condition back.

  • If they look sparse, that’s the contrast, not damage.

You’ve been looking at extensions for months. Your own lashes are still there and they fill back out over one growth cycle — about 6 to 8 weeks.

Brow lamination

Your brows are set in their new shape. The next 24 hours decide how long they hold it.

First 24 hours

the make-or-break window

  • Keep them completely dry.

Careful in the shower, careful washing your face. No swimming, no steam, no working up a sweat.

  • No makeup on or around your brows.

  • Don’t touch or rub them.

    They’re still setting into shape.

From day two

this is what keeps them

  • Brush them up and out with a spoolie every morning. That one habit is the difference between laminated brows and messy ones.

  • Feed them nightly with a nourishing oil or balm. Lamination leaves the hair thirsty, and brows that aren’t fed go brittle.

  • Keep scrubs and acids away from the brow area.

Coming back

Lamination lasts 4–6 weeks. Don’t re-laminate sooner than six — over-processing is what damages the hair, and we’d rather protect your brows than rush them.

Brows — tint & waxTint 2–4 weeks

Your brows are done. Here’s how to hold the colour and keep the skin happy.

First 24 hours

  • Keep them dry.

Water is what fades a fresh tint fastest — no swimming, no long hot showers, no steam.

  • No makeup on the brow area.

  • If we waxed too: hands off, and stay out of direct sun. Freshly waxed skin catches the sun easily.

Keeping the colour

  • Oil-free cleansers around your brows — oil lifts tint straight back out.

  • No scrubs or acid exfoliants on your brows. Anything with AHAs will strip the colour within days.

  • Sunscreen.

The sun fades tint faster than anything else, and we get plenty of it here.

  • If we waxed: skip anti-ageing and acid products on that skin for three days.

Coming back

Tint holds 2–4 weeks. Wax lasts 3–4 weeks. Booking the two together keeps them in step.

WaxingEvery 3–4 weeks

You’re smooth. Your follicles are open for the next day or so, so treat the skin kindly and it’ll stay clear.

First 24 hours

open follicles

  • No heat.

Lukewarm showers only — no hot water, no sauna, no steam.

  • No gym, no heavy sweating.

Sweat carries bacteria straight into open follicles, and that’s what causes the little bumps.

  • No swimming — pool or sea.

  • Nothing fragranced on the area.

No perfume, no scented lotion, and no deodorant on freshly waxed underarms today.

  • Loose cotton clothing over anywhere we’ve waxed.

  • Stay out of direct sun and wear sunscreen — freshly waxed skin burns easily.

From day three

the ingrown-hair rule

  • Start exfoliating gently, 2–3 times a week.

This is the one thing that prevents ingrown hairs, and it’s the step almost everyone skips.

  • Keep the skin moisturised with something unscented.

Coming back

Every 3–4 weeks. Waxing on a regular cycle makes the regrowth finer and the appointment far more comfortable — it’s the clients who leave it two months who find it sore.
